SEtalks #1 – Motivation for Entering Social Entrepreneurship
04 November from 12:30 PM, UTC +1
Zoom platform
🤩 Social entrepreneurship is a concept that has allured worldwide attention. It is no more a notion that there are certain people or enterprises that are doing good instead of making profits, but an emerging concept that is taking its place under the sun as a new economic model that fosters change and facilitates transition towards a better society.
📚 There are a lot of studies investigating the motivation of people for entering social entrepreneurship and operating a social enterprise. However, we want to hear first-hand what was the motivation for our speakers.
❓Was it the strong desire to change society?
❓Was it the need to be socially responsible?
❓Maybe wanting to make a difference in peoples’ lives?
To understand and explore the motivations of social entrepreneurs we seek the answer to the question:
❓What motivates people to engage in a social enterprise?
If you would like to learn about the motivation for entering social entrepreneurship, join us at our talk, Thursday (04 November), 12:30h UTC +1.
